Best Looking Water Thermo Neck....

I'm about ready to start going through my cooling system. When I change out the thermostat, I'll want to replace the housing with something much sharper looking than factory.

There are so many different ones available: short, tall, adjustable, etc. Does anyone have a recommendation of what fits nicely and looks great???

Also, I'm thinking of replacing the radiator hoses as part of the cooling system 'tune-up'. I'd like to do one of the color keyed hoses- are there better brands than others for these type?? (I'm planning on going blue)

Why not just fully polish your original one? Once you start polishing things, you might not want to stop...

If you want nice, billet aluminum looks good.

Get one with the o-ring instead of a gasket.

Best looking Water Neck/O ring.style...

I do want an O' ring style, as I'm going to be constantly in the top end of the engine as I slowly modify the performance abilities and the O-ring seems to be better about removing and reinstalling it a handful of times. Would there likely be any clearance issues if I use a taller billet item??? The IROC engine compartment is still not imprinted on my brain and is parked this week at my In-Laws house for a few days. i like the mr. gasket ones you can buy at most parts stores. typically under $15 and they're chrome. they look good for a year or 3 then you replace them with new ones.
