Don't know what this sensor is.

What is the sensor on the eng. block next to the starter (passenger side) on my 88 305 tbi camaro? Is it a knock or fan switch sensor?

engine block, passenger side: knock sensor.
rear of head, passenger side: thermal fan switch.
front of head, drivers side: coolent temp gauge sensor
coolent passage up in the intake: coolent temp sensor for ECM.
