a/c pressure switch...

its been some tedious time consuming and money braking days
since i tried to get my ac to work right
this's my 4th thread related to my a/c fixing journy.. here it goes.

new compressor, retro fitted, leak was fixed,

freon is fully charged once again.

now the clutch doesnt engage.
I found that when i move around the pressure switch,
the clutch engages (only while Im holding it down)
so Im thinking ill need a new one.

to replace that pressure switch I'll probably need to
vacuum the whole system again am I correct?

I read somewhere that putting a paperclip between
the switch male side connector,
it will bypass the switch and makes it work all the time,
will this harm the system possibly?(I know that I have no more leaks, and irregular pressure)

thanks in advance

The only way that will harm the system is if you are low on Refridgerant. Also, you can't just drive around like that... The compressor NEEDS to cycle on and off to prevent freeze up, IIRC.

I would clean my contacts first.
