I've searched but can't find the location of the coolant temp sensor on my 86 z28 tpi. Its the sensor that tells the comp. to turn on the fan. Wheres it at??? Thanks in advance. - Charlie

 

Its located in one of the ports at the front of the intake manifold base... There should be a sensor that looks like it has a fuel injector connector on it (this is your cold start sensor), and then next to it should be your coolant temperature sensor...
