Can't find vac line for heater control valve

This is on the 86 T/A. I know where it is on my 92 but the 92 might be different. I did an engine swap on the T/A and now can't find it and I want to add a heater control valve. Where should I be looking?

It should still be coming out of the HVAC wiring harness under the hood. Just like on the 92. Someone might have broken it off.

sounds like someone did some chopping before you bought the car?? You should have a diverter valve on your heater hoses with a return line to your intake manifold. You should also have a vacuum line from the divertor valve going somewhere in your harness back behind the coil pack very close to the firewall.

Follow that skillfully drawn red arrow, lol. The vacuum tube comes out of that pack to the left of the heater hose connections at the firewall.
