Low Coolant?

Hey guys, I don't know what is up with my motor... everytime i fill up my coolant bottle with water or antifreeze, a day or so later it is back down to almost empty. i know my 2.8 likes it to be that way, but why? I know she isn't leaking, i ran her idle for 30 minutes yesterday in my driveway when i put some coolant in her and got her up to the "cold" line. she is back down to the bottom of the bottle for some reason. she runs great with very low coolant in the overflow bottle, but can someone tell me why?

thanks!

edit: my water pump is fine, i replaced with a new lifetime water pump 3 years ago... and no leaks under the car or around the car at all.

Check the dip stick. Is the oil level rising? Or, is the oil milky looking? If not, do you smell anitfreeze in the cabin or under and or around the car?

If you just cant seem to find the source of the leak, have it pressure tested.
