I've been out of the game for a little while. I've got the stock intake manifold from the 1987 Carb 305. I need to know where to route the cooling lines on the manifold. Obviously the T-stat housing to the top of the Rad. there is a coolant hose fitting on the front of the intake and a threaded hole into a coolant passage in the rear passenger side of the intake. Where do these holes get routed to? I can't find any good diagrams in my repair manuals. If need be, I can take a pic and point them out.
Thanks.
Thanks.
the one in the front should go to the heater core and the one in the rear is a spare?

The one in the back is one of GM's better ideas -- it
takes flow out of the back of the engine, reducing hot
spots. On mine, that hose goes into the heater
control valve, which connects to the heater core
on one side, and back to a small radiator fitting on
the other side. Mine is apart right now, so I can't
make complete routing descriptions. But if you still
need it, I'll dig out the service manuals.

If you have a diagram, I'd appreciate it if you find time to post it. Thanks.Originally Posted by l_dis_travlr
