g day mate's

just bought a 89 camaro 305 tbi .RHD

the problem is.
i need a waterpump and bottom hose but no one has a listing for them
aparently the cars dont exist, local auto shop told me they never made a 305 must be a 307

could you tell me some part no's and mabie a place thats willing to ship to australia

and anyone else in aussie now of any parts that may fit from another vehicle

the bottom hose should be the same for a 305 or 350 or 307. Try another parts store.

already tried a few stores but cos they never sold the camaro's in australia there's no parts listing for them

350 chev waterpump from a hq holden seems close but hill have to cut bottom rh of pump off to clear p/s bracket and pulley mounting holes are about half a hole off but hose from that model car wont fit cos spout for radiator is on an angle for HQ and radiator is norrower so hose is to short

 

Just an idea to maybe get you out of a bind, did you maybe think about the aftermarket unit that is really flexable " like a ribbed unit" and you could route it and cut it to length. I think if you do a look up at maybe Good Year, or Gates, you may find a unit number that you could give them. I wished I could do more for ya, I think its really great you chose an F-Body to drive down under!!!!!!

 

not sure on our parts stores as far a shipping but, summit and jeg's have online stores that sell the pumps and hoses and I am sure they will ship to you http://www.summitracing.com/customer...80&p_topview=1
you can see if autozone.com will ship that far as well. even the gm dealer should be more than helpful in those area's as well most online stores like autozone, napa, bumper to bumper usually give part numbers that you may be able to use

 

thanks to the people that replies i found a place over here in w.A. that specialise in chev parts and the had waterpump bottom hose and top hose in stock expenxice was $280 for the lot but she's a runner again nowand that's the important thing
