Engine: Crossfire Injection 305 V8

Transmission: 700r4

Axle/Gears: 2.8??? stock fer sure

83 Ram air

I was taking my 83 crossfire inj. for a ride out after a couple years of having it in my garage. I was going along and i noticed that i was at top gear and almost near redline but i never saw the ram air scoops open? So i came back home and i saw that there was a wire to the ram air "popper" mechanism and that it was grounded but the other end was just loose nowhere to connect..
I looked around for an empty connection but nope. So i need help on finding where its supposed to connect to. I hope sumone can tell me.

Specs:
l69 305 Crossfire injection
with of course ram air scoops.

First welcome to the TGO forum but one of the Moderators should move your post to the History/Restoration Section.

The connector you're looking for should have a black w/orange tracer wire.The control relay is mounted on the driver's side of the cowl next to the fuel pump relay.The wire color coming from the relay is solid orange.Hope this helps you out.

On a side the Crossfire motor is LU5(VIN code S for '83).L69 is the 305 HO.
