green wire coming off of ac compressor

What does this wire go to? It's a small green wire coming off the air cond. compressor & has a flat spade like connector on it.

If it's green & connects to the passenger side of your motor just below the 1st spark plug it's your engine temp gauge wire. Just had to trace mine as my engine temp gauge wasn't working.

Thats it! Once I looked during daylight I could see it wasn't coming off the compressor, the wires are just tied togeather so it appears that way (I should have looked closer)
