Transmission: turbo 350 w/ 3200 stall
Axle/Gears: 9" ford detroit locker w/ 456
water bypass kit

anyone ever tried these for aftermarket heads. i'm trying to keep the water temp as low as possible. not sure i understand their purpose.

dont know how you can bypass the heads...maybe you mean bypassing the intake. some heads do not have a coolant port in the middle, it was put there to warm up the intake in cold start applications. buying heads without the port cut out will theoretically experience cooler manifold tempuratures.
