A/C only blows out of defrost

Anyone know why my ac only blows out of defrost. When I put it on norm ac and max ac it comes out the dash defrost only and not the vents.

Defrost is the default. You have a vac leak somewhere. As your problem is common to thirdgens, a search will provide a ton of info.

Re: A/C only blows out of defrost

mine did that too. you have a vaccum problem or dirty controls. put your car in low gear, drive it up to about 4000rpm and back off the gas while you wiggle the switch back and forth. this will create a lot of vaccum that could break loose a sticky valve in your HVAC system. thats what fixed mine, never been a problem since...
