transmission line exploded

transmission line exploded

my transmissions cooling line popped, and now i need to fix it.

anyone know where to get a nice new one? and any tips on how to take those hoses off, it looks like a pain with my current tools.

help would be much appreciated. thank you.

rubber hose em back together and take it to a shop with the right flare tools.

I replaced mine with flexible lines then installed a better transmission cooler. The flexible lines made it easy to route it away from the starter and my headers which the stock metal lines interfered with. Maybe you could consider that? It was easy and cost under $80 including the B&M cooler.

its really not my car, but my sisters, i just want a cheap and easy fix as i have to break the price to them. how expensive would a shop be?

fix it with rubber lines if you want a cheap fix. use two hose clamps when you slide the rubber line over whats left of the tranny solid line.

Make sure your rubber hose is transmission fluid or hydraulic rated hose! I have added transmission fluid coolers to all my vehicles and I always use those hoses and have never had a problem.
