i just got a pro comp electric water pump, and im in the middle of installing it. untill i started to fill the coolent back up when antifrezze starts wizzing out the passengers side of the block below the bottom bolt for the for the pump. now my stock pump covers this up. wtf is going on? i was thinking of getting a small frost plug like the block takes just above the camshaft but smaller. am i missing pieces?this ever happen to anyone else?whats the fix?

 

On older blocks that hole is drilled for the water pump bypass. You can use a cup plug, or tap it for a pipe plug.
