Radiator port question

I put in a new Radiator and this radiator has an extra port BELOW the trans. cooler line. I put a thick rubber nipple thing with a hose clamp. I have a leak at this new port after a week or so. So I need a good way to close off the port for good. The port is smooth not threaded like the trans. line port. Ideas?

Re: Radiator port question

it runs to the heater core, its the 3/4" one

i have a short pieceof 3/4" and an acorn lug nut in mine for now lol

i plan on getting a tank without the port from an s-10 or something similar and have the rad shop swap it for me

could probably find a rubber cap to go on it at a supply place/store im sure

not around here though, unless Big R may have something(farm supply)

im not going to be using my heater core until i replace it, im sure its rotten or broken by now after the engine swaps and from sitting dry for 7 years

good luck
