Trans Am Air Dam question?
I have an 86 Trans Am and I am going to buy an Air Dam for it, but the problem is, I don't know if it needs the 1 piece style or the 3 piece style offered by modern day muscle. The pictures are really small and they don't say the years they are for. Any help on this would be awesome.
Thanks,
Rich

I've bought a few of these new through pontiac and I've never seen a 3 piece one or is this something found on later model ones, does anyone have a picture of the 3 piece ones

I looked at this moder muscle website, great parts selection they have by the way .... OK I say 3 piece is for 90-92 ..... I would bet your car uses the one piece

excellent. Thanks for the help. I figured it was the 1 piece as well but since the car didn't have 1 to begin with when i got it, I just wasn't sure.
Thanks again

Re: Trans Am Air Dam question?
My 86 orig had a 1 pc but when i went in for a replacement at the dealer, the 3 pc was the only one availible. I have my worn 1 pc still. But in freshening up the underside the old one was sticking out like a sore thumb. The 3 pc is nice, but if your underside panels are mis-aligned, youre going to notice it.

Ill try tyo get a full pic of it tomorrow. Im still in the resto process and the front is still in the air =)
