as far as the lower radiator support, just hold the radiator up next to it and see how much lower you have to make it, its not rocket science. I lowered mine a few inches to better fit a 2 core "direct replacement" radiator, i just cut the support off with a sawzall, bent up some new mounting "cups", welded it back together and had a custom upper support made. A cutting torch has no use on metal this thin.

as for the wiring, its been done. the computer works many things in the later cars, so you will have to do a bit of re-wiring to get everything working again, i assume you are going to use a carb?

I believe the wiring between birds and camaros are close/the same. If you have the engine out, you can remove all the wire-loom and trace things. There is a large harness that comes out of the driverside firewall, that does all the headlights, you can trace it through a couple relays on the fireway and then down to the front of the car and under the nose support and over to the other side, all lighting. the passenger-side fender well, right behind the a/c blower, there is another large harness there. Just about everything there goes to the computer, there are also wires in there that go over the engine and into the trans tunnel for the lock-up and speed sensor if so equipped. I dont know what you are trying to keep as fas as accessories, bet you can just start tracing wires and see where they go and eliminate them as needed, if you have no care for emissions equipment of the old fuel injection is using a carb. It can start to look like quite a spiders-web of wires, but if you stare at them long enough, it starts to make sense.
