oil smoking??

oil smoking??
so for the past couple of days i have noticed a very very small amount of smoke coming from the engine i finally had the time to look at it and i found it was coming from the oil dipstick! what could be a the cause of this and a possible fix?? thanks!

the first thing i would check is the crankcase vent system . new pcv valve , new vent hoses , if tbi filter inside air filter housing . how many miles on eng. ? has it set up for long periods of time ? i had similar problems will mine several years ago . changed valve seals , de-gunked heads ( in car ) , cleaned oil drain passages on front and rear of cylinder heads . problem solved . good luck .
