Heater hoses above oil filter?

Heater hoses above oil filter?

I deleted my heater due to the heater core leaking and i also pulled my engine due to a rod knock. but above my oil filter my heater hoses run into it, what is that about???

Thats what i was thinking it had to be, im just gonna run them hoses to from there to the rad then.

Factory oil cooler next to useless.
More like an oil warmer in cold climates.

Remove it and all the lines,(Clean up under hood clutter)
and get yourself a (Effective) plate cooler if you want.

Keep all the OEM cooler componets if you want to ever
restore car to original, as was a package option
on our cars.

what temps does oil usually run?? So I should just block it all off?? Its useless? Or if i do that then i needed a different kind of cooler?

Unless your road racing or driving across Death Valley
in the middle of the summer at 140 you wouldn't want
that one. Plus you save a few lbs plus clutter.
( I hate clutter)

I replaced mine with a B&M, stainless lines and anodized
fitting only because we take it to shows. Takes a adapter.

Take it off but save all the steel tubing and cooler if like
I said, you ever want restore to original.
