Water Pump

The stock water pump on my 92 camaro 5.0 rs is on its way out i was wondering if any one had any opinions on this one, and will i need a regular rotation or reverse, and short or long version I also ahve a 160 thermostat installed and an open element air intake if that matters. thank you.

Re: Water Pump

thats the wrong part number. the one you need is edl-8881. its a long, reverse flow water pump. i have this same one on my 91 305 TBI firebird. as far as the part itself, ive had no problems with it since installation. only problem i had was with the installation itself. the water pump was hitting on the brackets for the a/c and alternator. a little bit of grinding on the sides and it fit right in.
