A/C Problem

I have an 87 Z28 305 5-speed and my A/C and heater wont work. When i set the control to "Max" or what ever setting id like, no air comes through the vents what so ever. Something does turn on when u switch it over and there arent any blown fuses. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to fix the problem. Thank you!

Re: A/C Problem

does it sound like the ventilation fan is running? if not then that is proably the issue - if it is running it could be the vacuum contol switch on the back of the ac/heat switch - it controls which vents open/shut for air flow

Re: A/C Problem

If the air is blowing through the defrost vents, you have a vac problem (defrost is the default). If you have no air there, check the blower motor.
