i need a diagram for stock heater hose placement
The CLOWN that had my 86 iroc before me. did some bypasses with the heater hoses from the throttle body. he put what looks like an exhaust turnout into my top radiator hose going from the top hose and splits to the lower heater hose. i have no heater hose going through the throttle body on my 350 corvette TPI motor.the water pump has a plug in the top as well. i want to turn this back to stock. im including apicture of what was done. i cannot find this piece of plastic to leave it like it is. so im going to turn it back to original. UNLESS someone knows of where i can find this piece. it looks like a t but it is angled for the heater hose connection. the chevy dealer nor autozone nor any junkyard has ever seen this piece nor does it have a part number.. im stumped on what to do. meanwhile my car sits with a full tank of gas ready to drive. thanks guys and gals

Bypassing the throttle body is a good mod. The only people that need that live in very cold climates. For folks in warm climates, it just heats-up the incoming air making it less dense.
I've never seen a y-adapter like the one you have pictured. No idea what he was thinking.
The only heater hoses I run are one from the front of the intake to the heater core, and one from the heater core to the pass-side of the radiator.

Any idea where he got that Y fitting from? I need something like that BADLY for the radiator swap I just did (not at all for the same reason he used it).

i actually found something similer but not exactly. i went to autozone and looked in the back room at all of their hoses. they had one that had the same configuration but the hose was too short to reach my intake. so after cutting and splicing a few parts i got it to work. NOONE has that part anywhere to my knowledge. ive been to about 3 dealers 6 auto parts stores and even Ecklers chevy in titusville florida. NO CLUE!! oh ya and even 4 junk yards. there is no part number on it whatsoever. i can send you a pic of what i did get if you are interested.
