so my car seems to get real warm ~220 or so, i replaced water pump, radiator, 160 degree fan switch, 180 tstat and it still gets warm, when i shut it off today and temp sky rocketed and i could hear the car unloading into the reservoir tank i popped the hood and sure enough it filled it up and i could hear the intake hissing at me, i know i need to replace the gasket but would this cause it to overheat? im thinking maybe some of the gasket has shifted and is blocking a cooling passage or something?

You mean intake MANIFOLD gasket?

How do you know its leaking?

Does it get hot on highway or in stop-and-go driving?
Air dam missing?
Is the radiator fan running?
Have you pressure tested or replaced the radiator cap?
Once you tighten the bolts on just abt any gasket, it's not going to move.

i have air dam, i can see fan working, new rad cap, and i can hear it hiss sometimes and watched a little water bubble once

Where do you see water bubbleing? What gasket are you talking abt replacing? Why do you think it needs replacing?
Basically, if system moves a sufficient amount of water, has sufficient amount of airflow thru radiator, and holds 15 psi of press, it should work.
Have you warmed-up eng with radiator cap removed to verify the water is flowing thru cores when thermostat opens? Have you checked the tubes for corrosion bulid-up? Verified the lower radiator hose isn't collapsing?

AIR BUBBLE in the system. top off the radiator and leave the cap off for a bit. if theres air in the cooling system it will cause overheating. ive had this problem a few times after a rad. change. its pretty common and easy to solve.
