2nd fan problem
i have an issue where my 2nd fan doesnt come on and the car gets up to 240*. i still have the stock fan switch in the car, i have another one that is a hypertech new in box that turns on at 176* too. so i have to run the heater in hot weather, very uncofortable. i checked the fuse it was fine and i have tried using jumper cables to see if the car needed more volts but it still wouldnt come on. any ideas?

replaced fan motor with new ac delco fan and replaced the relay, checked the fuse again. the fan is still not coming on. what else could the problem be?

You have the exact opposite problem that I have. One of my fans wont shut off at all! Good luck with your problem though.

Have you checked to see if the wire is connected to the fan switch on the block? These wires get burnt through or come loose. If it is connected and if it`s a single wire, ground the wire and see if the fan comes on. If it does the stock switch is bad.
