Re: what setup moves more air?
Good question. I have (2) 10's and they are alot smaller and I think they really move alot of air. I have installed an additional fan on the other side of the Radiator to assist with any heating issues. So 1 pusher and 2 pullers. Works good so far.

check jegs or summit for fan specs.. some dual 10" setups will flow better than a single 16" and vice versa

It will depend on the fans, but I would think a pair of 10's could match a single 16. With a pair of them, you have the option to bring them on at different temperatures, and only have to run one of them under light loads.

permacool makes good cooling fans with the little pancake style motors, i have a 14" and a 12" one and both are rated at 3000cfm apiece, thats more than some dual fan setups from just 1 fan.

Re: what setup moves more air?
im looking at a 10 and a 12". ill run the 12 off the low temp fan switch, and the 10" through a relay and a toggle for when i need a little extra cooling. sound about right?
