Need help wiring up radiator fan, please help.

Need help wiring up radiator fan, please help.

can anyone give me a a picture or help wiring up my radiator fan? the guy i took it to wire it so when you turn the key it comes on and stays on until you shut it off then it blows a fuse, he didnt splice anything it looks like it took a wire and ran it inside the plug for the fan and ran a ground, can anyone give me a picture or tell me if i should cut off my connector and splice and wire stuff differently? it will be much appreciated, thanks alot.

I just picked up a Camaro that had a nightmare fan wiring setup (guy wired the radio with the fan).

I disconnected all his handywork and tapped into the 'green' wire at the relay, then ran this to a switch and then to ground.
Now I have my fan on a manual switch when I need it, but the factory setup is still fully functional. I don't like the idea of the fan running all the time, not good for the fan motor. (BTW, my setup is a single fan).
