Fan set up from a 4th gen with 3rd gen

Will the 5.7 dual fan set up work and fit properly in a third gen TPI 305. Im currently in the process of buying it but need to know for sure if it will work.

Just measure it. It should be about the same size, but you'll need dual relays to get it working properly. Can be done off one, but it draws to much current.

Did you have dual fans from the factory? If so, yes.

The secret? Lots of cutting. Trim the tabs off the sides of the LS1 fan setup, and you'll need to cut the crap out of your upper radiator support. It'd probably look better with a custom piece (if you have access to a sheet metal brake, that would be KING) of aluminum or something, but it works.

Running the LT1 fans/radiator here but have a LT1 also. I found it was much easier to get a LT1 radiator shroud cover, then trim it down, drill holes in it, basically retrofit it. It makes the LT1 fans stay in place much better than the thirdgen one.
