Re: over heating due to the radiator fan

what you got?

dual fans?
any modifications to cooling?
there is a good article in the tech section on cooling systems for both single and dual set-ups.

You say it does not turn on when you start the car? its really not supposed to unless you have it wired to run like like that.

Now, if it NEVER turns on, then you have a problem.

So, does the fan turn on when the engine reaches 220 deg F?

Re: over heating due to the radiator fan

Sounds like the previous owner has bypassed the fan relay and jumpered the fan directly to a line that is hot when the ignition is on.

I had problems with my relay. Keep burning them out. Ordered one from my local pontiac dealer.

JB.
