Radiator installation question

I have a '92 RS with a 305 TBI.My radiator decided to take a dump the other day.It looks as if there's a split in the plastic (nylon) tank on the driver's side.Instead of doing the JB Weld thing, I'm ordering a new radiator. This is my 'newest' old car and I use it as an occasional driver. Here's my question: I want to start taking the radiator out while the new one is being shipped.Because the overnite temps are starting to dip below freezing here, can I go a day or two without the radiator?(Yes,the car will be parked!)Back in the day there was some barroom BSer that said you would run the risk of a cracked block if you didn't have your radiator hooked up in cold weather, true? I feel like a grade A a**hole for asking this question, but I'm only going to have time to work on the car a little bit each day, and I don't want to eff anything up.As always, thanks in advance for your replies!!

Re: Radiator installation question

It'll be fine for an indefinite length of time.
