visual identification of reverse rotation pump
Hey guys,
I am buying a new water pump to go with my new engine. It's an 88 TBI camaro serpentine accessory setup (smooth pump pulley), so I know I need the reverse rotation water pump.
When I go to the mega-chain parts store and buy my new pump is there a way to tell visually that it is reverse rotation? Or do I have to rely on the guys at the parts counter to get it right?
This will be looking at a new pump alone w/o pulley on it. I will have my old pump (should be reverse rotation) to compare to the new one. Anything to look for in particular?

I don't know if the following will be helpful or not, but the p/n for the reverse rotation pump on my conversion was 88894005.
