Re: condensers

also, does anyone know if there are any o-rings in the evaporator "doghouse", or any hidden o-rings, I'm converting to R-134a, and don't want any leaks.

The evaporator has O rings.

You can buy an entire kit of O rings for next to nothing.

The old O rings (black) are R-12 compatible.

New O rings (green) are R-134a compatible.

Re: condensers

are there any that are not readily acessable though, I dont want to take apart my dash if I don't have too.I can count 7 o-rings total, two on the drier two on the compressor, two on the condensor, and one over the orifice tube, is that all of them?

I believe you’re correct on the O-ring count.

I’ve never had to service any of my Camaros’s evaporators.

Even tho the old O-rings technically are not compatible I’ve never had a problem.
