thermostat not working

thermostat not working

so my thermostat stopped working today. how would i go about fixing this

Re: thermostat not working

- Drain enough coolant so it's not pouring out of the upper radiator hose.
- Remover upper radiator hose from thermostat housing.
- Remove two bolts from thermostat housing
- Remove housing, pull (sometimes pry) out thermostat.
- Installation is reverse of removal.

Be sure to have on hand: New thrmostat, gasket, RTV sealant and replacement coolant (or, just reuse what you drained if in clean container)
