higher temp
i have a 350 non computer controlled carbed engine in my 88 iroc. it always ran about 190 degrees. I did a topend rebuild on it and did not reconnect the heater core. My car now runs between 220 and 240. Does anybody have any ideas why? could it be because I did not hook up the heater core?
thanks in advance

Re: higher temp
Did you change anything other then the heater core?
I can see a temp drop with a heater core as opposed to without, as the coolant is basically going thru a second radiator. However when the heat is off, the coolant dosen't circulate thru the heater core. So it really shouldn't make a difference.
