89 iroc 350 overheats when ever he feels like it.
For some reason the iroc heats up? and in the car comes a smell of burnt oil or fumes from gas what could this be? a cracked exhaust and if so where do i start to dismantle? New to the web site need help on bring back a classic to the well deserved road.

Are you smelling coolant maybe? Check pass floorboard for wetness - maybe the heater core has gone out. Fans coming on? Test thermostat? Replaced Radiator Cap? Air Dam under car in place?
