As far as I know the V-6 dual fan and LT1 cars are the same. I found a V-6 car fan setup and modified the fans and the factory shroud in my 83 CFI car and wired them just like the 96 firebird I got them off of. I used the fan switch in the A/C line and I added a sensor in the P/S head to control them. They easily cool my car.
