cooler lines

not sure where to post this, so im posting in teh trans section too, I need to make new trans cooler lines for my 85 (88 engine/trans and radiator) does anyone know what materials ill need? and if so can you tell me?

powertrain transplant, old lines on old car were rusted beyond recognition and crumbled in my hands

Got ya. I don't believe you can buy them. I looked for them on line. You may want to start looking in JY's. I twisted one end of mine off during a rad change. I uses some rubber hose fuel line and clamped it down.. but I only need to go about 4 inches or so to the radiator and used a 5/16 flare with a barb for the other end. I guess you could use rubber hose the entire length and use a barbed firring at bot ends?? If you want to make some there's a wiki article on how to bend the lines.

i know how to bend Line, But I actually like what another member suggested and that was use steel braided line, but the whole length kinda makes me think ehhh. u got a link to that wiki too? is it just how to bend line or is it about our application specifically

i looked for years you can only get the direct replacement lines form GM , and thing else u have to bend to fit. but if u get them form GM be ready to bend over it's like 54.34- for one and 122.44 for both lolol they come with the cilp to hold them to the K-member too
