Can i change my water pump?
I am moving around my belts and pulleys. I am fortunate enough to have been able to remove my smog pump and the A/C went out of there with it, so i have a shorter serp belt now. Last week i broke the crappy alt/ps bracket and now i'm looking into some nicer ones. Problem is that they wont work with the reverse rotation pump. Can i use a standard rotation or must i stay with the reverse? THanks

I found my answer... On a mustang site 
. But it will work. Just going to have to change my pulleys to V belt... Unless there's a ribbed WP pulley out there for us...

with chevy you will have to change pump to STD.
rotation if you use v-belt pulleys(different bolt pattern
anyway) IIRC ford has straight impeller blades on their
pumps which will work either rotation,while chevy has
curved blades and will pump poorly running reverse.
