AC in non Ac car
AC in non Ac car
I have an 86 iroc with a 305 and electric fan but no factory air. Has anyone installed ac in a non ac car here... I am ac certified so charging and trouble shooting it wont be a problem, but not sure on the ducting, wiring, and vaccum or cable in these 3rd gen cars i see that mine has several ducts closed off from the factory...A friend of mine has a late 80s f body w ac that i could probably use for a doner car. Just curious as if anyone has attempted this yet and how it turned out???

Re: AC in non Ac car
what are you going to do with the non-ac interior airbox and controls?
From my understanding, AC uses Vacuum (maybe cables too) at the controls and non-AC uses cables.
