heaterhose trouble.

on my 93 firebird lt1, the heater hose has a bleeder valve before the water pump to pressure the cooling system. well my luck ran out and a pin hole streem of water was going into my intake! well to make a short story long, i need a new heater hose. but im told you still need a bleader valve on the heater hose. they dont sell 3 way valves like that in any auto part stores around where i live, and the last thing i want to do is take it to the dealership... i understand that the existing hose is stock, and i want to keep it as stock as possible, no jerry rigging here lol. got any ideas?

well now i know that the heater hoses come as one peice. and its 250$$ for just the part. id realy like another method.

Re: heaterhose trouble.

What developed the leak? If it was the hose, you should be able to replace the hose and use the existing valve. If you need a new valve, there's GOT to be someone online selling one online. Or one at a junkyard.

Re: heaterhose trouble.

This isn't the best place for 4th generation car answers, as we are a 3rd generation site (1982 - 1992). Might want to inquire on a 4th gen forum.
