Cfm for a stock fan??
I have a 86 iroc, 305 tpi with a single fan which is comp controlled. I'm looking into replacing the radiator and fan in hopes to cool it down. Would anyone know the cfm on a stock single fan? The fan I'm looking into has a cfm of 2190 at 0 static pressure. Just wondering If its enough or more than enough to keep it cool. Thanks for any help.

Re: Cfm for a stock fan??
Should be - Advance/Autozone shows a replacement at ~1200 cfm. Another thing that helps tremendously is getting some aluminum roofing flashing (10ft roll at Home Depot $11), and making a shroud around the single fan so that more air is pulled from all over the radiator and not just the 14-16 inches infront of the fan. And the stock mount sets the fan about 2+ inches off the radiator, allowing it to draw around the radiator instead of thru it - homemade shroud helps alot with that.
