it will hit 220 on the factory gauge in the 95 degree heat in stop and go traffic. Is this something i should be worried about?

mine started doing that after the headers were installed and i went out and bout me a jet performance fan switch it kicks on at 195 and off at 185 i believe, but that how they run a lil on the warn side

thats not to bad at all, if it is something that you are worried about or if it starts to creep up warmer...it is very easy to put the factory fan on a switch. I did mine and i am still using the factory relay and switch so it will still go on and off when it needs to or i can over ride it and turn it on when i want.

i just wondered...i might get a different fan controller. Its not good for an engine to run over 210. makes the oil thin out....hard on the bearings and other moving parts. I guess a 180 thermostat is in the near future too

Many cars run 210 and over with no negative effects.
I changed the fan temp setting in the ECM to get mine to run cooler.
