I am extremely frustrated right now. Yesterday when I got to work....smoke was coming up out of my hood, I opened it, coolant was boiling and squiriting out everywhere. I poured water into the radiator, let it cool down a bit and had my friend take it home to look at it while I was at work. My car has been overheating for about 2 months now.. I've been blowing the heat through the vents to take it off the engine...but I guess yesterday it just blew. Apparently my fan has been rigged to run all the time? It constantly spins. The motor is fine. The thermostat is fine. The water pump is fine. I am not sure why else the car would be overheating? This all started when my dumbass ex-boyfriend's friend decided to start wreching at it in order the replace the radiator fan motor.... I went to look at what he was doing and explained he was wrenching at the wrong fan and told him to stop and just put everything back together and on my way home it was overheating. Anyone have any ideas?
