Fan blower won't turn off

Fan blower won't turn off

I purchase a 88 camaro 2.8L. i was trying to turn on the ac but it wont cool. then the fan blower just stays on. i can't quite figure out the problem. my may concern is the fan blower motor not turning off. Pls help!!

The fan will run as long as the slider is anywhere but in the OFF position.

I would suspect a bad relay for one (the relay is next to the fan blower motor in the engine bay). I had one got stuck on before even after I shut off the engine.

For the a/c not cooling, thats another problem. Anything in the a/c system could cause that. I would start with trying to add freon.
