I have a 1988 trans am gta with a stock oil cooler. I have it installed on my oil filter and I do not know where the lines go to. I know they go to the radiator but someone said one goes to the radiator and the other goes to the heater core or an adapter that goes into the block. I am stuck and if somone can send me a diagram or somthing to help it will be greatly apreciated.

Also im not quite sure how the rest of my cooling system gets hooked up due to the previous owner having the car completly apart.

One goes to the radiator, the other to the T junction on the hard line.

There's no adapter into the block, that's only done that way on Corvettes

Look at the braid sleeve covered lines

 

On the diagram it says a hose goes from the heater core to a metal pipe(which is on my car now originaly) now the out line looks like it hooks up to the overflow part of the radiator. Could that be true because it the diagram looks like it makes sense besides that part. Also on the diagram where the hose is labled 5 where does that go cuz it shows it just ending.
