Pitcock Leaks
Need some help ASAP,
The radiator in my 87 305 ta has a plastic pitcock that is about 2" long with threaded diameter of stem about a quarter of an inch. When trying to find where my radiator was leaking I noticed that the pitcock was loose and would not tighten up. No matter how much I turned it, it stayed loose. It looks pretty mickey mouse. What the easiest thing to do to fix it? It's got a fork on the end of it and I'm not sure I can just put a screw in the hole...
Any advice will be appreciated!!
Thanks,
Dale

Re: Pitcock Leaks
Sometimes you have to push them into the radiator and then tighten.

Re: Pitcock Leaks
I appreciate the help. I bought a new pitcock today and will see tomorrow if I can get it to tighten. Things aren't made like they used to be...
