In 88 the IROC (the initials of the International Race Of Champions exhibition series, which Chevrolet paid for the privilege of using their name) was available with a 305 TBI motor. Definitely not what I would call "high end".
Some other things about it were however the top of the line; notably the suspension setup; no matter how weenie of a motor it got.
Not sure how dual fans does not qualify as "high end set up"? But W/E.
It is certainly not "rare".

Yep, the IROC package was basically just a suspension and appearance package; Wonderbar, stiffer springs and shocks, bigger swaybars, quick-ratio steering box. Fog lights, graphics, etc. I have the most stripped-down IROC I have ever seen. (B4c police package, A/C delete, radio delete, power nothing!)
