AC Blower motor replacement
Hello,
My AC blower motor keeps cutting off and when it comes back on I can hear a screeching noise, so I'm fairly sure the bearings are going bad in it.
I bought a new one today to replace it, and was about to do it when I noticed a warning label on the housing that the blower motor goes into saying the typical spiel about AC Refrigerant being under pressure. The blower motor has a cooling tube coming out the side of it.
Is this motor part of the pressurized system or is it safe for me to pull this motor and replace it myself?
Thanks!

Re: AC Blower motor replacement
I'd suggest stuffing a towel/rag under the motor to catch the screws you WILL lose.

Thanks,
And lol unfortunately I saw your post before the edit... now tomorrow I've got to get a magnet to retrieve one screw and one wrench
