Seems to stick around 195* to 200*F
Rebuilt 350, 30 over, new pistons, rings, all that fun stuff, rest of it's in my sig.
I had a few problems before, I was using a V-belt water pump on a serpentine engine, which means a CW pump is being turned CCW, who would'a thought?!
Car would go up to as high as 220*F, which is not cool on a 90*F day..
So, I called my parts guy, and ordered an Edelbrock 8881 Water pump, about the only one that fit my criteria, and the only one I could get next day.
Installed it, reassembled the front of the engine, took it out for a buzz today, the car seems to hang around 200*F, until I can get out of traffic and in to open air, I'm running a 160*F t-stat..
When I put the intake together, connected the rear cylinder water jacket to the front housing where the t-stat it, keeps fresh water moving in the rear water jacket.
I also have a 195*F fan control in the head, works good, but I need more..
Any suggestions on what to do? Next I'm thinking a bigger rad, with dual fans...

No ideas?
I doubt it's a blockage in the water jacket, I had it hot tanked a few times when I was rebuilding it.

did you just say that you have a 160 tstat and the fans at 195. you need a different controller for the fans to come on earlier like mentioned above.
