92 over heating

Ok here is the low down. I have a 92 camaro with a 305. Ive had to replace the thermostat and the guy who had it before me cut the temp switch and wired it to a switch under the dash. Now when I drive the car I have no problem with the temp at all, but do to other reasons, my little sisters has had to drive the car. When she shes always saying its over heating. When the car is driven the fan is always turned on, allowing the car to run around 160. She gets in an it runs fine till she kicks the air on then she says with in maybe 10 minutes or so the gauge has moved into the red and its over heading. Now I know its not leaking and it is resurrecting, but we cant seem to figure out the problem, because it only happens when she drives it. Any ideas?

The most absolute best favor you can do yourself is to get a sperate fan controller, and wire it in. They are easy to do, come with preset on/off temps or adjustable (depending on how much you spend). I run a Flex-a-lite, cost $100, but worth every penny - it's been 100% dead on for last 4 years. But cheaper models with less bells/whistles are available for as little as about $40.

My car does the same thing...perfectly fine til I turn on the A/C, and wait about 10 minutes.
305tbi, recently flushed coolant...to no avail.

I'm wondering if it has to do with poor wind incoming on the front of my camaro through the grill.

Really? Because it leads directly at the radiator on the passenger and driver side, while the center is solid, for a license plate mount.

And yes, the airdam is in good shape, fully mounted stock part. I wish I could get rid of that damn thing, it scrapes all the time.

Proven by who? If you are going to debunk my statement, show some proof, don't arbitrarily tell me there is "proof" and I need to find it. What kind of argument is that? Let's act as if we are educated here and provide some credibility as well.

Air passes across the condenser at the VERY least, with air passing through the radiator, it removes heat through the latent heat of convection.
