The other day i had a cat back system installed on my 1990 iroc-z. when i got home my wife and family wanted to hear it so i rev'd it up 3 times and it started pissing coolant all over the ground? I can see that its coming from somewere in the back of the motor? after letting it cool down over night i went out side check the fluid lvls only one that was bad was coolant. so i topped it off started car no leak. drove it to school no leak when i parked. soon as i got home parked it same thing started leaking. and its not just a drip it took half a bottle of coolant to top off both times. plz help me guys point me in the right direction to fixxing this i dont want to see my iroc-z DIE!! ty guys

 

out of the engine? or a heater hose leaking maybe?

 

To me it sounds like the heater core is leaking and the drain hose is dumping coolant out. Maybe the leak isn't bad when the heater core bypass valve is shut and then it opens when the car is shut off. I'd check it first anyway.

 

get a flashlight , open hood , look for leak . best advice we/i can give with out more details . if it's from pass. side a common place for leaks is hose going to manifold near dist. . not a slam , but look and give more info. . good luck .
